The World Committee of the Pan-Armenian Games is discussing the prospects of participation of new cities from Russia in the Games

 The Armenian community of Russia has always been active in participation and support of organizational activities of the Pan-Armenian Games. This year’s 7th Pan-Armenian Summer Games has a record number of participated cities (14 cities) from the Russian Federation in comparison with previous years,

Currently, the World Committee of Pan-Armenian Games is discussing the prospects of the involvment of new cities in Pan-Armenian Games during meetings in various cities of the Russian Federation.

In this framework, recently, a delegation headed by WCPAG Chairman Ishkhan Zakaryan visited the Great Novgorod city of the Russian Federation.  As a result of the visit, Armenian businessman Hovhannes Mkhitaryan was authorized to coordinate the work of the Committee in the Great Novgorod city, with the prospect that the ancient capital of Russia, Great Novgorod, inhabited with  22,000 Armenians, will be joined by the big World Committee family at the next Pan-Armenian Games.
